Meloshe and Associates is an Ottawa-based consulting firm and was established in 1991 by Nancy Meloshe. The firm specializes in providing representation for public and private sector clients developing residential, commercial, industrial and institutional projects in a variety of urban and rural settings throughout the City. The firm has extensive Ottawa project management and professional planning experience and has successfully completed many challenging and high profile assignments. The firm has also managed many multi-disciplinary planning teams assembled for the purpose of implementing both innovative public sector plans and private land development projects. Meloshe and Associates have over 21 years of experience seeking the necessary approvals through the City of Ottawa. The firm also undertakes major policy studies and provides expert planning testimony before the Ontario Municipal Board.

Nancy Meloshe MES MCIP RPP

Nancy Meloshe received her Masters Degree in Environmental Studies from York University in 1979. She has been a practicing registered professional planner for over 32 years in the Province of Ontario and has worked in both the public and private sectors.

Nancy has a long history in land development planning and knowledge of the development approvals process. She has expertise in the coordination and management of the complete planning and development approvals process and has participated in major planning studies including the Downtown Ottawa Urban Design Strategy; Canada’s Capital Core Area Sector Plan; 530 Tremblay Road Lands; Booth Street NRC Lands and the Ottawa Hospital /National Defence Medical Centre Lands.

Nancy is very familiar with the planning and land development approval process. She has worked in communities and neighbourhoods across the City of Ottawa on a variety of controversial planning, land development and community development assignments. High profile development projects include obtaining all municipal and provincial approvals for Ikea’s flagship Ottawa store; intensification of mixed use at Billings Bridge Shopping Centre; new office tower development at Place de Ville Phase III and residential apartment development on the Presland Road lands. Nancy has been involved in a number of complex Ottawa project study teams on behalf of the City of Ottawa, National Capital Commission, PWGSC, Ottawa International Airport, Canada Lands Company and various federal departments.
